Refund policy

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless a return is specifically approved by SOIL Jewelry under limited circumstances.

In certain situations, we may offer a return within 30 days of purchase, but only if the following conditions are met:

- The item is unworn, unused, and in its original packaging

- The return request includes the original receipt or proof of purchase

- The item is reviewed and approved by SOIL Jewelry as eligible for return

Return approval is not guaranteed and is granted only at our discretion. To inquire about a return, please contact us at shop@thesoil.ca with your order number and reason for the request. Please do not send items back without prior approval, as unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will not be returned to you.

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (including special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please note that damage or breakage of items after wear, as well as natural fading or wear of vermeil (gold-plated) jewelry over time, is considered normal and not a defect. As such, these instances are not eligible for return or refund.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
